ViPeel Tampa

If you’re looking for a non-invasive treatment method for smoother, brighter, and more even skin, ViPeel could be the right choice. This medium-depth chemical peel harnesses the power of TCA, phenol, salicylic acid, and other proven ingredients to slough away damaged skin and reveal a healthier, more radiant complexion.

When To Choose Medium-Depth Chemical Peels

Chemical peels are a longstanding skin treatment for damaged skin and signs of aging. These peels are available in different depths to help patients achieve their desired results. The intensity of the ingredients in a chemical peel will determine its depth.

Medium-depth peels are the middle ground in chemical peels, ranked in between light peels and deep peels. The ViPeel is a medium-depth peel that uses low concentrations of phenol, retinoic acid, TCA, salicylic acid, and vitamin C. These ingredients work to powerfully exfoliate the skin without the downtime required after a deep peel.

What Can ViPeel Be Used To Treat?

ViPeel can improve the appearance of various skin concerns, including:

  • Uneven skin tone
  • Uneven skin texture
  • Hyperpigmentation
  • Acne scars
  • Sun spots
  • Fine lines and wrinkles

What To Expect from ViPeel Treatment

ViPeel is intended to improve skin tone and texture while addressing common signs of skin aging. It produces noticeable results after a single treatment, though the best results may be seen after four to six treatments.

Before ViPeel treatment, it’s important to take a few steps to protect the skin. For one, reduce sun exposure to avoid skin damage and don’t use exfoliating or aggressive skincare products for a week before the procedure. An antiviral medication, retinoid, or bleaching agent may be recommended by your doctor to prepare the skin for ViPeel.

The ViPeel Process

The ViPeel process starts by thoroughly cleansing the skin to eliminate oils, dirt, and purities. Then, the advanced ViPeel solution is applied in two layers. After the first layer is applied, patients feel a momentary stinging or numbing sensation. The second layer of ViPeel is then applied until the skin begins to “frost,” or turn white. This indicates that the outermost layers of the skin are being exfoliated.

Unlike with other chemical peels, a neutralizing solution doesn’t need to be applied after ViPeel treatment. Patients can immediately return to their regular activities, but should steer clear of exercise and sun exposure for one to seven days. About five to six hours after treatment and a minimum of one hour before bed, patients wash off the ViPeel solution.

Retin-A should be applied for the first two nights after treatment to deeply clean the skin and promote peeling. The skin may feel irritated up to seven days after the treatment, when the peeling stops.
